My G40 currently is running at 131bhp at the wheels, it has standard unfettled charger, jabba induction kit, full stainless exhaust system, standard throttle body with wedges still fitted, and standard G40 inlet manifold.
What would I gain if I dewedged the butterfly and bored out to 50.8mm and ported both the charger and the inlet manifold and put a bigger front mount intercooler on??
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm considering some changes.
you might get it to about 150bhp or maybe a bit more with a 65mm pulley and decent chip/map
Forgot to mention, I have a 65mm pulley and map already, will it need remapping after the mods?
not essential - but a good idea!
pete
You will be best fitting some 250cc injectors if you going to run a small pulley.
Mine ran 150bhp with the following:
GT Inlet
250cc injectors
65mm Pulley
Toothies
SNS Chip
Full Blend Lader
De Cat.
cheers Robin, ill definately be looking at what injectors i could use. a mate of mine that works at volvo said he had a set i could have but i wasn't sure on weather they'd fit.
they will fit but its the flow rate that is important.
at 150bhp - injectors shuld be ok - you might want greens to future proof though
cheers Pete, ill look into it,
