The gearbox was always a good one anyhow, Drove the car with it in for a while before getting the diff fitted.
JP Race fitted the diff and at the same time i had it reconditioned just for piece of mind :-) . . . Pritty sure the diff and recon was around the £1K mark.
Really not sure of any pre load settings or anything like that. All i will say is that being a plate type diff you certainly know its there but FUCK me does it work. Bell me and i would be happy to talk you through my experiances driving with one. Take my word for it though. If you have BALLS then this WILL increase cornering speed imensley and obviously be essential for getting power down in even the most lightly modified G.
Its also only done a few thousand miles. . Maybe 5K Tops - but probably no where near that. Was a weekend car and even though i owned it for a few years it never clocked up many miles
The only 1 minor thing is that it could do with a gear selector seal as it weeps just the very smallest amount (Very common to be honest and nothing to worry about.
Gearbox will be supplied WITHOUT gear oil. There are a few available and its personal choice to be honest. I will find out what the geeks recomend though. My memory is shot and really cant remember.
