Random one, I need the bolt that holds the alternator on at the top?
It managed to work itself loose then fell off while I was limping home and couldn't find it on the road. D'oh!
Anyone know if it's the same as any other mk3?

Etka says its a hexagonal head bolt M8 x 120

Price says £2.16 but that may not be correct.Other mk3's are different.

the exact same thing happened to me, you can get the bolt from vw still but the spacer/sleeve is a discontinued part, i made a spacer on the lathe.

I got an alternator complete that i might be selling. If that part is not required you want it?
Definitely mate! Still not got the call from vw...
Just dont ask for it as soon as possible if they dont have one. Was gonna cost me £6.88 for just the bolt overnight until i realised i had a spare :)
