alright guys
im wanting a lot more power out of my g40! its currently running with with a gt inlet manifold, psd 65mm chargher pulley with chip to suit. my car has currently done just over 197k... would my car be alright to remap and cam? and what else can i do other than a turbo conversion to increase power?

is your charger ported?
big valve head, cam, front mount i/c, aquamist, 1341/1472cc - remap.
Then blowers like g60, eaton, turbo

im pretty sure my charger isnt ported! how do i go about having it ported?
and also what is an aquamist?

aquamist is also known as water/methanol injection to some people. A mixture of the above 50:50 solution) is injected into the boost pipe after the intercooler to allow the timing to be adjusted accordingly for better running. Thats how i understand it anyway and im yet to fit my kit!
at that milage the rings might need doing also shell bearings and so forth
yeah I'd be doing an engine rebuild before anything else if it was me.
Max went turbo at ~150K and it went bang in a matter of months.
Rebuid is the way to go.
Although the sensible thing would be to find a 200bhp engine (stock) and spend the money making it fit a polo rather than spend money rebuilding that. Jap is easy ponies.
