Title: Boost bypass
Post by: Richg40 on May 08, 2010, 08:56:00 PM
I'm giving a bit of thought to running a bigger, simpler throttle body but the question is how do you vent the surplus pressure when you're off the power? I'm trying to do as much research as I can but any input is greatfully recieved. I think we all know about the Mini system, but i'm thinking of something more progessive and adjustable while still vacuum controlled?. Anyone know anything about Proflo?

Tried looking at other supercharged cars? Jags, Mercs, etc? I don't know how they work but could save you reinventing the wheel

I'm toying with ideas, including a throttle before the charger and PWM regulated bypass. It's a minefield.
