Hello to all,
I've sorted a club g40 camping/show spot at British VW Festival for 2nd/3rd/4th July. They give you a stand/plot depending on how many people actually book in advance, which you can easily do on their site. They have changed it this year as you quite often get clubs which dont have enough space and others which have a huuuge pitch with one or two cars.
This is an ace show so i'd encourage people to book and come meet everyone - and dont forget the free beer offer which is here.... http://www.polog40.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,4249.0.html
The site to book at is www.bvwf.co.uk and you need a password specific to the club - this is supercharged.
So come on everyone - get it booked. Its only £30!
Pete
Well one reason why i bought my car is to be able to go to meets and shows etc and usually there all up north and too far to travel but this one is only a 2 hour drive so count me in for this one. Will be good to meet up!

That's great - but if people don't book on the site, then we don't get a pitch. I'll be booking soon enough.
Pete
I'll get mine booked shortly. Are they going to put us next to Club Polo again as per usual?
I have asked!
nice one :D
I'll be there but probably not until Saturday and probably in the Corrado.

why in the rado? tell her how it is!!!! still have to book it on club g40 or there wont be room and you'll be in the randoms camping area.
so are they actually planning on marking out each club stand in a different size depending on how many cars each one has booked? Seems like a bit of a nightmare to organise! Do you know what the cut-off for booking a place on the club stand is (since I assume they're going to need a fair while to organise these spaces)?

Is it £30 each for the weekend or the plot?
Anybody else getting stung by Postage being added on? WTF? wasn't last year a print off the net type thing?

So far its
Me
Tom
Jezza
Steve
that are on the list confirmed (it sends me who has booked!)
just paid, I thought £1.25 was a bit much just to send out a bloody ticket, which isn't exactly cheap anyway :)
Anyway, not to worry, it'll all be worth it.
i've booked
:)
All booked up :)
Just a reminder for people, cut off date for pre-booking is next week. If you don't book in advance you wont be on the stand.
I would like to book but my polo definantly won't be ready. Can I camp with you lot anyway or should I just buy a normal ticket ? And is it £30 per car or per person ?
its fine if you dont have a g40 - just pop it on the back of the pitch - theres always a few people with theirs still in progress at home

Yeah that's what I was thinking mate. Would be food and it's not too far up the road. My girlfriend is coming too. Will sort out times and that nearer to the date.
Id Better get booked on, last time I tried the bvf website was down >:(
ok im booked up now, are the tickets posted or e-tickets it said they dont send them out untill two weeks before the show so im assuming posted ones as i seem to have a light finger postie as alot of my post goes missing like my holiday tickets parcels forms from company pension among others !!
not really sure. they did e-tickets last year but in previous years it's always been posted in the mail a couple of weeks before the show, sounds like they've gone back to that.

chris lees is my mate chris, I don't think he's bringing a car. He rang me last to sak me what the club password was but I told him he didn't need one if he's not bringing a car.
Me plus 1 is booked in too. 8) Last chance of a car related weekend before baby #3 arrives
Booked!
Any one got there tickets yet cause I havnt !!
no - i've not yet
Lol just got mine now :)
ain't got mine yet. Anybody else?
Ok edit, Just got mine as an email.
So what the f*ck was i charged £1 odd postage for?
got in touch with them - apparently thats an admin fee... and they say bvf is not for profit, so didnt moan too much
Why could they just not add that to ticket price. Or to be fair the amount the're charging for the ticket have it included in the £30 price. Complete Con!
Been away for 2 weeks and just got back at weekend. Received an e-mail that contains a pdf file of the ticket. Do you print that off and take that as your ticket? I thought they were going to be sent in post?
print it off - they aint sending anything out!
