Does anyone know the paint code for gun metal gray that the g40 n the gt was painted in?

Golfs, (not sure about polos) have a sticker in the boot between the floorpan and the boot latch. If it's not come off, try looking there. Or go to the dealers and tell them your reg, they can do a printout of all the info the dealer registered on there. Not always that good mind, depends how lazy the person was when registering it on the system (as I found out when I worked at a dealers, much to my disappointment!)

Also if you have original Polo G40 manual there is a sticker in there that says what it is.

there is a sticker in the boot,it even tells you if its a G40, Gt etc
