Title: Oil changed at GSF again!
Post by: samg40 on April 24, 2010, 05:21:45 PM
Well some time ago GSF stopped doing Synta and started stocking Fuchs Titan XTR or whatever it is. Was a bit dubious but apparently its what VW put in at the factory so I've been using it ever since and had no issues. Went to GSF this morning for some oil and a filter to change the oil on the Corrado and was given Carlube stuff. Apparently thats what GSF now stock and they arent getting Fuchs stuff anymore. Brill.

Noticed this too when in for bits on Sat. Might as well get the AutoCare 10w40 for £6 a can from the trade wholesaler, and just drop the oil a bit more frequently :D
