Print Page - air/fuel ratio wiring

Title: air/fuel ratio wiring

I have just got a used autometer air/fuel gauge without instructions and was wondering how to wire it up. There are three wires on the back. red/black/purple, am i right with black=ground, red=switch live and purple=lamba output????
I so which lamba wire do i get the feed from?

Purple and white if I remember correctly

Red = ignition switched live
Black = ground
Purple = purple on the engine loom side of the lambda plug.
