Anyone else ever come across or used this stuff before?
A few days ago, had the onset of headgasket failure on my daily work horse (punto 1.2 8v - renowned for HGF), was losing coolant, high temps after 15mins of driving, white smoke etc but no dodgy running issues (so compression ok)... a garage quoted me £450-500 for a HG fix :o or doing it myself, probably around £150 ish. Either way, wasn't gonna pay out that for a crappy punto! ::)
Anyway, Someone recommended me this stuff that you pour in and bonds itself to the hole and plugs it permanantly, though I had my doubts, I got some from my local motor factors, poured it in, and hey freakin' presto, its fixed the damn HG failure! Since done about 150miles and still going fine, temps stable, zero coolant loss and no white smoke at all. All for £10.99! Saved myself a fortune, cannot recommend this stuff enough!

Now I cant be sure how bad the HG had gone before using this stuff, but its still going strong so far, fingers crosses, touch wood, crosses to god. :D ;D
So, anyone had any experience with this stuff or similar? Good and bad?
Yep we sell it!
Alot of customers i know swear by the stuff!
top stuff for rovers! seals cracks in the block and head too!
Did an Astra 1.4 with it and it was OK when sold 6K later. F'n brilliant.
Not used it, but told about its usefullness on the Rover engines with cracked blocks. Funnily enough widely used by car traders ::)
Only time Ive used it was on an old 5 series bimmer, but it wasnt man enough to mend a banana shaped head lol. We ended up just driving the car till it seized, then towing it the rest of the way haha.
