Post by: spookey on February 19, 2010, 09:33:29 AM
Hi guys. Me and a few guys from my uni have organised a charity based trackday at curbrough near lichfield. The date it will be run is the 15th april and the price for the hole day will be £35. there will be timing equipment on the day so we can see the men from the boys. All profits as said before go to a charity to be announced. It should be a good day out for every one and hope to see a few of u there.

Cheers Luke

What is the Curburgring?

It is a charity track day run for car enthusiasts, by car enthusiasts.
This unique event will be held at the Curborough sprint curcuit near Burton-Upon-Trent and its spirit will be a homage to the world famous Nurburgring in Germany, hence the name Curburg!

The Curburg event will be an awesome, laid-back day for like minded "petrolheads" to get together and thrash their motors in the beautiful surroundings of curborough hall, all the while raising much needed funds for a truly worthy cause.

So....

Do you want unlimited track time on a technical sprint circuit in the heart on the midlands?

PARTICIPATE for just £35!
You dont need a race licence, fireproof kit or even a helmet (although we do recomend it!) just a car/bike/vehicle and a will to have a good time.
You can even add extra drivers to your booking for only £5 extra each, great value for you and your mates.

Want to watch a wide variety of motors tackling an awsome sprint curcuit in the heart of the midlands?

Spectate for FREE!

For a small donation some drivers may even be offering pasenger rides in their cars meaning you can be part of the action too!

Donate
No matter how small, all donations are welcome. As stated above ALL proceeds will go to the National Memorial Arboretum near Lichfield, which in-turn supports the memories of all of our brave service men and women.

go to http://www.curburgring.vpweb.co.uk/

for further details and tickets.

AlexG40. yea would be good if we could get another g40 comming around  8) but make sure u get your details onto our website to get a ticket because they are moving fast!

Dazzle53. Its a sprint track so its quite short. 1 car at a time running against the clock type of thing. There are a few events going on there usally booked up most weeks. very popular with the racing set.
