Cant seem to find it?

Were is it, any pictures?

The big plastic plug on the very top?

NO! you'll be pouring oil all over the clutch through there.

the filler is the metal 17mm hex plug on the side next to the nearside driveshaft connection.

so at very bottom? i take it i drain it all out, then fill with 3.1 litres?

Top hole (wth plastic cver is inspection hole)
where your nearside (passenger) driveshaft is connected to the flange there are two hex bolts.. top to fill bottom to drain..
i your having trouble getting nut off a tip of trade is
use a17mm headed bolt , place two nuts half way down, lock them together and the head of the bolt should fit in the hex bolt and using the nuts on the bold slacken the gearbox filler bolt..
