Title: Fuel Filter
Post by: Jezza-7 on December 26, 2009, 03:08:32 PM
Went to change this this morning but the screw that holds the filter in is very rusty. Plently of GT85 on it and it wont budge. In past they have been, from what i remember very easy to change.

Have started to take the whole panel that contains the in line pump, whilst doing it snapping one of the AVM's. I think this filter has never been changed.

Is there an easier way to do this?

AVMs?

they are always a bitch on mk3s... i generally take the whole panel off - replace the 3 hex rubbers, replace the break of fuel clamps with proper fuel hose clips and then the ring that holds the filter - replace the screw with a bolt
