Title: Rear axle bushes
Post by: dekerf1996 on November 04, 2009, 03:46:04 PM
Hi,

Just wondering what people have done about their rear axle bushes?

I know there are the G-Landersite (SP) ones which are solid, abit too much for a daily driver i hear, and then there is just the standard VW ones?

I know Phil J has some Bonrath ones which look solid as well

So what have people done for their bushes as i am looking to improve mine but what are the opinions? Or shall i just get some custom ones made up?

Thanks in advance

Mark

just get some standard ones.

I have salzmann nylon (solid) ones on mine, some people say it makes the back end twichy but I can't say I've ever really noticed it.

I've seen some people (on various cars) get standard ones and fill the gaps in them with silicon sealer to stiffen them up a touch.
