GT one is the same.  One from a mk4 polo isn't quite the same but works just as well.

Yeah its probably easier to find a multipoint injection one from a mk4 (part number ends AB). I can't tell the difference between that and the late GT/G40 version (part number ending in T). Hall sender and trigger wheel look identical on these two.

well the obvious difference is that the hall sender connector is at the back of the dizzy and not the top but as you correctly say the spacing of the hall sender trigger wheel is the same and that's what's important.

I've had one on my g40 for a couple of years now with no issues.

I was up my local scrappy yesterday and the dizzy on a mk4 multipoint didn`t end in AB but one on a mk4 single point injection did. How confusing. Off up now to get the AB one + theres 2 more mk4`s to check out while i`m there.

On another note this peed me off while i was there as it came in on the scrappage scheme
and therefore has to be broken.
Of course your still allowed to buy the engine and put that in your car wich seems daft to me.
MP`s are a bunch of Poohdoo.
