I found this earlier and was wondering, could this replace the pipe that goes down from the charger to intercooler?

Yeah i think you could be right it said somewhere on another page,

Samco Xtreme charge air cooler hose 57mm bore (2 1/4") by 125mm length (4 3/4") in Blue.

I think that the standard boost pipe is a little longer.
