Standard ECU/MAP sensor is 1bar/15psi.

No such thing as a K03s either...

As Andy says the stock MAP sensor limits you to 15psi (200kPa) but with a bigger MAP sensor (250kPa) you can run up to 22psi.

well there is but it's just a k03 with a slightly stronger acuator spring in it as you know yoof.  the same turbine and compressor as a normal k03 and since you need to put an adjustable actuator on a turbo g40 for it to work properly, no different at all.

in order to be safe you need to have a decent ecu remap to suit the higher boost and a higher rated map sensor.  you can't fit the map sensor without a remap to suit.

i did hear that some k03s have a different roller bearing in so less resistance.... not sure if b/s tho

Just to clarify- Borg Warner (who make the turbos) do not recognise a K03's' there's no such thing. The differance between a forum 'K03s' and a normal 'K03' lies in the actuator strength- which dictates the boost pressure the turbo can provide.

Pete- I'm sure that's crap, they're all solid bearing, never seen one with roller bearings, although I guess you could upgrade them...

Ball bearings arent really much of an 'upgrade' for a turbo to be fair, they are more fragile and a little more complicated to lubricate. There is nothing wrong with journal bearings.
