Title: G40 Flywheel Bolts.
Post by: Wiggy on September 04, 2009, 09:18:02 AM
Howdy chaps.

Just wondering how long the flywheel bolts are for a G40? I buzzed mine off last night, and the bolts appear to be very short, about 20mmlong at most, however they do not appear to be sheared.

I always assumed that they hwere rather long due to a picture i saw in a thread on clubpolo a while back.

Cheers chaps.

yeah, small length.  These are stretch bolts and torque up like head bolts and are one use only.

Yes, but at my local stealers (Lowestoft) even that isn't as simple as it seems......if the car you're buyingparts for is more than 3 years old their brains just switch off
