hi i have a 1991 black g40 with 165 k on the clocks
i am currently rebuilding the car back to it,s former (glory)
with overhauled engine and newly rebuilt charger with parts
from jabbasport and labour by a mate.this shall be fitted asap.
apart from a few small things the car is great but the coilovers
which are fitted to the back(lowered shocks & springs on front)
are too harsh for use on irish roads(tracks).
i want to upgrade the suspension and lower the car 60 to 100mm
also need advice on uprated anti roll bar and all front and rear
bush,s please include price of items if known?
thanks in advance Enda in ireland
Anti-rollbars are hard to find, and cost an arm or a leg.
Save up for a subframe/wishbone conversion from PPS or PPP
yeah speak to PPP in the traders section on here about a subframe, much better than an uprated arb (which are basically impossible to find anyway).
Quite afew people swear by the H&R kits. Lowers 60 front 40 rear. I'd be tempted by one if the roads round here weren't so damn rough!
If you want to go lower, coilovers are your answer.
I've been impressed with FK's 40mm kit. Had two myself and fitted a couple, all have been fine.
If you have a bit more money, get koni yellows and either Eibach or H&R springs 30-40mm springs.
