Title: powder coat

i fancy having my charger powder coated has anyone powder coated there charger if so could i have it power coated without striping it down (jus plugin holes up)bloke said the oven he cure's the powder coat in gets up2 180c to 200c for around 15mins thanks alot for any help u can give

I imagine it would ruin the apex seals and possibly the oil seals too.  just clean it up and give it a spray paint.

you can't powder coat the charger as it won't hold enough static charge for the paint to stick (trust me i've tried it). you'd be better off using a high temperature spray from halfords, thats what i ended up doing. you can only powder coat metals that can get magnetically charged up.
