Title: De wedge throttle body
Post by: Jezza-7 on August 18, 2009, 04:56:04 PM
Just wondering how much this cost's and where abouts you can get it done? Someone is selling one and was wondering is it just worth buying a throttle body that has already been done?

It doesn't cost anything apart from a few pence for some nuts and bolts to block the four holes left behind.

I wouldn't use nuts & bolts though, see this thread:

I originally did mine using rivets and then later on got rid of those for some liquid metal which left it nice & smooth.  I have a 51mm throttle body on it now though which has no holes in the throttle plate.

What is the advantage of a de-wedged throttle body?
