1000bhp in an exige chassis, a mobile suicide machine?

I love it  ;D

£125,000 extra to pay if you want 1200bhp instead of 1000bhp??? thats a lot of money just for him to turn the boost up!

Twin turbo and supercharged!

Bear in mind that John Sleath will sell you a twin turbo small block chevy with a dyno proven 1000bhp for £10,000 and you wonder what is in the engine of this thing.

Im guessing it will be totally mental. Although the exige chassis is aluminium, which you would imagine would stress fracture after a while with this sort of BHP, depending on how he has upgraded it. To be fair I wouldnt have thought there was room for a V8 in an exige as they are mid-rear engined usually.

Just noticed that in the drawings it looks longer in the rear than your average exige, which must be how they have got the room.

Reckon you'd be spending a fair bit more with John than that to get 1000bhp (I know he's done aspirated ~500bhp Chrysler Mopar lumps for similar money), but it's still a valid point. The twin-turbo small block he built for that yellow Ultima wasn't quite the magical 1000bhp - but not far off, and can imagine that in that package it shifts well enough.

You could pay John to build a silly engine and buy an Ultima to put it in for the same price as the 1000bhp>1200bhp upgrade and still have change. I know which I'd do!

I'd imagine that although it looks like an exige on the outside, underneath it's probably been pretty much started from scratch.

Sure you can buy an ultima for a lot less, you can probably buy an ex-f1 car or gp2 car or something for less, but I want an insanely fast car that I can kill myself in on the way to tesco for the weekly shop in  ;D

Why not book in for an assisted suicide in a Swiss clinic then top yourself on the drive there? Why do Tesco always have to get the trade?

Just got it from a guy at work who does a bit for his turbo's. Apparently thats his next best seller lol, 1000bhp for £10,000. AFAIK it involves a crate 350 and a pair of turbos, not much else to it! There are guys building nitrous motors with crate SBC's now for peanuts. I think people are starting to realise that you dont need to spend a billion pounds on con rods made from kryptonite if all you want is a measly 1000bhp! lol.
