I fixed my problem with a boost leek and drove the car............ planted the car in second gear then into 3rd................... DONK!!!! lol pulled over and i had snapped 2 drive shaft bolts.
This is the 3rd time i have snapped the bolts
Does anyone else have this problem where can i get stronger ones from?? or any advice on how to stop it !! short of loosing mytemper im guna start welding the shaft to the box >:(
are you sure you are using the correct bolts?
i have never come across anyone snapping driveshaft bolts, i am guessing you got them all in yeah? 6 in total.
its usually the driveshaft which snaps first if you are running loads of power and have a LSD and sticky tyres!

Ye your right there the car was setup on the 14s im runing front and rear camber done all the tracking is set...??
The way they are bent suggests they have come loose before shearing.
Im using the ibiza shafts with the ibiza bolts the gearbox mounting is in excatly the same place as the g40 one?? any other suggestions??
When you say it sheared two of them, what happened to the other 4?
they remain in the shaft but loose
i've had similar problems
i done mine 3 times
come to find the fourth time i decided you rattle gun them on.
then after 100 miles again i went back and re tightened them!
problem solved..
seems if they aint mega tight they work there way slack
