lookin good :)
You dont muck about Robin I'll give you that! When you hoping to have it running by?
Drove the car over to the unit Friday before last (10th) and by Wednesday this week it will be in a state to be started up.
It'll be ready for the Polo Show!
Welcome to the Dark Side! ;D
good stuff! where'd you get that water pipe fitting? It looks much better than mine because it holds the pipe away from the heat of the turbo
It's a VAG part from the Passats - have the same one on mine.

That would be from 'Yoof Supermarket' ;D
I'll have a butchers in a scrapyard this weekend then.
Under £3 new from VAG if memory serves.
Good work Robin! 8)
Get some more pics. up mate.
i think this car currently is everything id want out of a mk3 at the moment.. colour, spec, turbo...
wash your mouth out dan.
What spaniel wants in a mk3 is all original bolts and part with vw numbers on them and a wallet of reciepts to back up the part numbers.
seriously tho - looking good robin
lol at the pic dan!

Awesome! Is this all part of 'Project 180' or will it be a Project 180+ now then?

I said before Pete, you must get a complete list of all the parts you sell. Weren't you sorting out a website or something?
Website's underway...
I'll have a spec sheet on the car at the Polo Show which will list a lot of PPP stuff some come and have a look!
Car is up and running now so will be at the Polo Show.
As a proper G-Lader boy i gotta admit the turbo conversion for me is better than the lader set up, no issues with rev limits, reliabilty etc.
Like other Turbo boys i miss the low down kick from the lader boost and also the toothed belt noise but after doing 100miles in the turbo i can honestly say that turbo was the correct way to go.
Its so much quieter exhaust side of things, more powers and also i don't suffer as badly with wheel spin as the turbo only really kicks in properly after 2500rpm so by then i am already rolling.
;D
nice one rocket, how many boosts are you running? Are you camping at the polo show (el oh el).
Running 15boosts mate, i don't have a bigger map sensor yet...........or 310cc injectors!
me and the missus will be camping in one of the rooms at travel inn outside billing like usual...........
I thought you would you wuss.
(not camp that is...)
Robin, like the best of us requires some 'Yoof Diagnostics' time, just to put the finishing touches on it ;)
Car is a credit to Robin, conversion is excellent and we're proud that it wears so many of our bits- come see it at Polo Show on our stand! 8)
