Could that be the geekiest thread title ever? :D
Think I'm going to replace my spark plugs this week, I'll check the condition they're in first but they're a few years old now and have done 25k miles or thereabouts and are pretty old.
The car's started running a bit less well over the last few days, has a slight misfire on a steady throttle which makes town driving a pain. I'm wondering if the plugs are past it.
Anyway, I can get W5DP0s for £40 ish from GSF (slightly less with the discount card) or the NGK BP7EVX which came up in another thread at £20 delivered to my desk.
Is it worth the extra cash for the Bosch?
NGK, the worlds number one spark plug.
The recommended G40 plug W5DPO's for me..
Stuttering doesn't seem so bad since I refuelled, I wonder if I had a bad tank.
I'll change the plugs and leads come next pay day but for now it can wait. :)
I've gone NGK and never regretted it!! Easier to tweak the gap than the bosch too!!
I also run the NGK's since the W5's are too expensive. The car runs very well and develops fine trough the rpm range. Can't really see the advantage of paying the extra money for the W5's!!!
Cheers,
Bruno
