Just reading about another G40 biting the dust and how many are left these days!! :o
So how many do we think are out there in TOTALLY standard spec?? ???
Although I say it myself my G40 is very tidy (allbeit after and hit of paint and a few hundred quid of replaced bits n bobs and freshly re-furbed wheels), I just wondered if there are any others out there?? ;)
i have
2 tornado red - totally stock
1 alpine white - half coded bumpers
dknights is pretty near stock - engine work - no side repeaters
samg40s is pretty near stock - engine work
my dads is, graffite grey with factory sun roof, think he's toying with the idea of parting with it?? Come on dad, make your mind up!
Completely Original, except the horiffic(imo) silver pinstripe down the side!
Mine's completely original. It's NickS' old one.
On about 38,000 miles now.
Am in two minds as to fitting a s/s exhaust!
mines completely standard, event down to the tape player!!! :-)
and it's now on 44,000
i'd love to mess about with 1, before i bought my red 1 i was after a white one so i could polizei it :-), but this one was too good to miss!!!
Mine is completely standard apart from a decat pipe (genuine VW part), 185/60's, and the original tape player has been replaced (with another tape player). I bought another G40 to modify and when I sold that I made sure all the tuning bits went with it so I wouldn't be tempted to molest the original one.
