Title: g40 running!
Post by: bbvw on May 18, 2009, 08:58:26 AM
Hi people, could some one please give me some help.

I built my g40 and had a few mods done as i built it up but the thing is its not running rite at idle and splutters when driving, i know its over fueling but could this bad running just be down to ecu setup or could it be another fault???

Thanks Matt

well its standard bottom end. Its got toothies, stage 4 charger, dewedged throttle flap, ported head, ported gt inlet and exhaust manifold, induction kit.

what chip and what injectors are in it?

there's a million things that could be causing overfuelling really, I'd start by looking at the blue temp sensor and the lambda probe.  Do you have a VAGCOM lead?
