looks like the standard cheap manifolds from germany which are known to cause cleaerance problems on G's.
the PSD one and PPP ones have a kink in the first header to clear the charger.

:(

the first header JUST makes it
the second catches the charger outlet alot

is it possible for to heat it up give it a little bend ?

the first and second flow together

to be honest i wouldn't start to bend it out the way if it fouls by quite a bit, it is clear that the manifold doesn't suit a G therefore send it back , get your wedge back and put your name down for a PPP one which is the exact same as the PSD.

hmm see the problem there is now i've had the manifold for over 6 months

has some scoring whilst fittin

and also had to chop a wee bit off the exit pipe to fit onto psd center ?

in that case it looks like you are a bit f'ed then.

looking at your pictures it seems to me that you'll need to move header 2 by a fair chunk to get it to clear the lader outlet and to make matters worse its hitting the dome rather than the webbing on the outlet.

you could give it a wack to clear it but you'll be restricting the exhaust flow by a fair amount if you gotta make lots of clearance!

Hmm bit of a dilema, will this fit on to a GT (i guess so)? If so might be worth putting it up for sale on ClubPolo and seing what you can get for it rather than cutting it about and risking f'ing it big time...

cut your losses, sell it on and get a proper one! if you are going to do it then you might as well do it properly

TA Technix one?

To be honest if it's been sold to you as a G40 manifold then you deserve a full refund, if you've bought it as a Polo 1.3 generic manifold (hoping it will fit a G40) then I'd just try to sell it on.

Jigs are being made for our new manifolds sometime within the next few weeks. Here's a taster  8)

Quoteerm. why two lamda plugs :O?

normally put a bung in the 2nd one but then it's there to put a wide band lambda into for remapping.  I welded two bosses to my turbo downpipe for the same reason.
