Title: new tappets? where from

im lookin at getting a new set of tappets for my g40 could anyone recomend the best place to get some from and does anyone know how much they are?

GSF or VAG. The former being a lot cheaper.

thats what i ment i know i can get them from vag but i was wonderin if i could get them cheaper else were

Here`s a link to Gsf ebay.

If you order, or go to the shop then ask for INA Tappets and not the other crap they sell.
If you buy Vag then these are pretty much what you`ll get.

jus found a set from Topran/Germany has anyone heard of these ? they are on ebay

Not heard of them tbh. INA tappets are the only ones I would buy aftermarket.
