Title: oil pressure and temperature gauges

ello all i had an accident with my last engine and i now want to keep my eye on things that can cause a mess.so just a quick question do i need to buy a sender for these two gauges or can i use the oil pressure switch at the back of the block for the pressure and just get a sender for the temperature.any ideas would be greatly appriciated cheers all

use a sender, the easiest place to put it is to drill and tap the sump plug and mount it in there. no major risk of messin anything up then.

Sump plug will do for oil temp but not oil pressure though. For the oil pressure you will probably have to T off the oil pressure light switch. Dont forget you can use a mechanical gauge if you want.

OR you can buy this sandwich plate....

It bolts where the oil filter is and you can simply bolt both senders in that plate...
So you won't drill nothing...
