This summer I am thinking of taking a Mk3 G40 engine/charger/gearbox/exhaust and putting it into an old Mk2 as something to keep me busy. :)
What I am wondering is where I can source the G40 parts from? I have seen some G40s for sale on the forums here but they all look far to good to break apart like this. I really doubt I could get anything useful in a scrapyard around here either. Do any G40s come up that have rusted apart or do you see engines come up for sale at all?
just a case of waiting to see what comes up
occasionally you get a rear ended car etc
