Is there a fuse in the ECU? I got horible feeling I blown mine up...
The ECU Relay doesn't seem to fire at all, so no voltage to the ECU, but then how does the ECU fire the relay (is it just grounded so that the ECU just has to be plugged in, or is there more logic behind it. I put 12v down the line from the relay to the module, but no difference, no fuel pump wirring or relay clicking. The oil ligh comes on with the ignition, but seemingly no spark or injection...
Anyone offer advice? I'd really appreciate it.. My baby is poorly, please help...

yellow fuse by ecu.
Could be ecu relay - next to ecu.
ECU relay isn't being energised.... I've found a yellow fuse for the fuel pump, is it near this?
Many thanks!
NEAL :)
that big yellow fuse in engine bay is i think for that loom - ecu/relays and therefore fuel pumps etc/
I've traced the wire back to the ECU and it it is the fuel pump control line, behind the relays next to the ECU?
There are 2 pins mentioned on the wiring diagram that go to the relay, one seems to be a control (output from ecu) line, and one input with what seems to be the main 12v line into the ECU.. But how does the ECU switch on the relay if it's power isn't there intil the relay is switched on, rather like pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps?
Clutching at straws now, Been 3 days on it!

that yellow fuse is on the 12v wire that goes from the fuel pump relay to the fuel pumps and injectors so I doubt it'll be that. If it was blown you should still get power to the ECU,
I think the ecu fuse might be one of the normal bullet ones, haynes book of lies should say.
Dyou know if there is 1 inside?
Kind regards

not sure to be honest, it's pretty easy to open up and have a look, just four screws anbd then the black plastic casing slides off.
In said book of haynes, there is mention of t32, and other T's... Is there a list of which is which connector?

Turned out to be the connector that is close to the coilpack and exactly the same shape, was swapped with the other close to the coilpack connector.... Realised injectors and pumps suddenly working, and then it just took some crankin!
Cheers for advice during this, I've learned alot!
Kind regards

ah a text-book error. Lots of people have done that at some point.
