Title: wheel bearing
Post by: dannyb.G40 on March 31, 2009, 01:07:33 PM
is it worth changing the wheel bearing (mainly front) when I change the suspension? if so any rough ideas how much they are.

Cheers, Danny.

I wouldn't bother if it's not worn out.  It's a bit of a ball ache to do unless you have a press.  They are about £40 a side from VW if I remember correctly, I wouldn't go near a cheaper GSF one.

£25 a side from VW?  I seem to remember mine costing a bit more than that.

Thanks guys they arent noticably worn so I won't bother then, spark plugs are a more pressing matter at the minute.
