Title: psd turbo cam setup
Post by: GTG40 on March 31, 2009, 09:49:40 AM
alright guys
Just got a PSD turbo cam and put it in my g40. Do I need an adjustable pully to set it up properly? or do i just need to adjust the ignition timing? as its running a bit lumpy compared to the stadard cam and ticking over when cold at 1300rpm then won't idle when warm.

thanks
steven

yeah you do need a vernier pulley to get it setup exactly right.  It should still run without one though.

Is your ignition timing set right?

Does any one know what degrees full lift on cyclinder 1 inlet should be set at on the crank for the PSD or schrick turbo cams?
Just trying to time mine up

Thanks
