With winters over (or its ment to be soon) so i finally pulled my finger out and I'm getting my new wheels sorted.
Bought these at E38 last year for the massive sum of £40. Woo!!
Since then i've stripped them, and sorted the chips in the rim out, see below:

Bought two hub adapters as i wasnt sure they would fit the G, so best not waste £250 on them, they turned up yesterday so today i trial fitted them, and they fit Woo!!!! (just)

He does say that in the post Pete! Welcome buy the way, nice car that.

Thanks for the welcome guys!!
An yeah it did, i've spent a fair amount on it since then tho, as the car looked spot on, but had a fair few problems under the skin :/
I have to say, I didn't notice that he'd said it used to be Roo's either but I did recognise the car. Can't think of any others that colour with those headlight washers.
Yup, everyone knows it as Roo's old car :(
Maybe one day it may change lol
Thats really nice. I love the colour; i have the same colour.
Ha! Windsor Blue... I didn't knew that the colour was named like that... I have the same too... In sun it becomes purple!

If it's Roo's old car (sorry to keep referring to it as that) then it's a minter. Before Roo owned it, this was in PVW in the Polo G40 buyers guide. I can't remember the name of the owner at the time.
Nice G :D
