Can somebody tell me which camshaft can I put ? 252/272 or 269/269 ??
cat is offering 269/269 nd other one is fm Shrick. If I order fm CAT how will I know which one fits for me? Also if i put in sport cam do I hv to change lifters nd springs or they can stay as they are?
Do somebody hs cataloge part No for it?
Tks
whats the spec of the engine?
252/272 is the more usual cam if you have the g-lader charger still. 269/269 is more for a GT (naturally aspirated) engine or should work ok on a turbo converted g40.
what do y. mean under spec of the engine? don't understand
what modifications have been made to the engine? That will determine what camshaft will work best.
If you are still running the g-lader then you'll want the 252/272 from that list you give.
well, in the moment I hv tooth pulley 65 mm, exaust manifold 4in1 nd whole exaust 2,5"
future: stand alone comp will go on it nd also GT inlet manifold
which one would be better?
252/272
spoke with catcams nd they are offering to me 267/281....
COMMENTS???
281 is a very big duration, especially for hydraulic tappets and the cam would make idle for lumpy and the emissions higher. I would agree with Hayesey in going for the 252/272.
Ok y're telling 252/272 which producer hs it? I looked ad Schrick & catcams but they don't hv it in their offer.
Tks for y. help
I thought you said thats what you were offered by Catcams ???
I would go for the Schrick 252/276 then

No No, first they offered 269/269 but hayesey told this is more for GT so I asked what else do they hv nd offered me 267/281 nd with this cam I don't need to change springs or lifters, but I think this 267/281 can't be driven normaly as fast road ... Maybe I'm wrong..
But all of y. are telling 252/272 is better solution so I will chose Schrick than
Tks
I see, I thought your first post was saying they has 252/272 and 269/269.
I'm fairly sure catcams do a cam pretty similar to the schrick g40 one
probably they can do it but on their official page is just 269/269 & 267/281 named as cams for G40
Just find out that roettelle racing hs cams for G40...
This is their advertisement:

Exact name: 276 degrees ° / 252 ° and 110 ° spreading, valve 9.5 and 10,6 mm Überschneidungshub 2.0 mm. Expected performance about 12-14 more horsepower and torque to a more beautiful from the basement to get speed. Very good for the G-loaders to spare, since the loader wheel not turn out to be small. The engine on the test must be coordinated to ensure the highest possible to achieve performance and engine damage. The camshaft is designed for street use also suitable for cutting the control problems to exist. The engine idle is very good, as with an original camshaft. You can also acquired their material at a fixed price of us can fit.

So my question is: do I hv to change original springs and lifters whit this cam or they can stay originals?
tks
no you don't have to change the springs unless they are worn out (which is very unlikely). You don't have to change the lifters although since they wear to the shape of the cam over time it's recommended to change them for new ones if you can.
