Title: Alloy Problem !!!
Post by: NAKEDSQUIZZAL on March 18, 2009, 05:45:13 PM
i have just put on some alloys they are 15" fox racing alloys but because of the size of the car compared to my dads mk3 facelift golf they dont fit !! >:(

is it just as simple as getting some spacers and putting them on because all i need is a little bit of clearence sideways as they are rubbing the inside of the tire on the bottom of the shock

15 inch wheels on a mk3 is a bit big, u would be better off with some 14's,
doesnt ur g have the original bbs wheels?

u could try getting some lower profile tyres with smaller sidewalls and less width,
that would probably help, spacing the wheels is a bit unnecasary!

do they have 195/50/15 tyres on them?  They're too big for a mk3 polo, you'll need some 195/45/15s.

Or if y. want y. can easely put on 165/50/15 like I did and there is no problem with rubbing at all
