Not the most exciting post but having had a lovely weekend I'm assuming quite a few of us washed our cars!
What does everyone use for their bumper and/or rubber care to so the rubber seals etc? I'm assuming bumper care features regularly when washing a G with all that plastic!
I'm still with the Autoglym green stuff and usually Armoural (sp?) for the rubber but they ran out at Halfrauds this weekend so I had to get the Autoglym alternative and it was good :)

i also use the autoglym green stuff, can't beat it. i've tried allsorts and thats by far the best,
i last washed mine in october and its still blingin, sayin that its been in the garage since, lol

Auto Glym is great, I used it for years, but it's VERY messy.
Meguiars is not so greasy, and seems to last longer. More expensive though.
I've just treated my car with Bromoco Back For Good - supposed to last four years!!!
Since getting into the whole detailing thing I've heard about something called Gummi Pledge for using on the door seals etc.
Yes, I bought some. Not used it yet as the doors seals are perished on mine, will do when i replace them.
I used that meguiars all season dressing which is much better than the normal rubbish. Going to try some Autosmart soon I think.
I've also used Poorboy's Natural Look Dressing on the plastic trim on my Passat at the weekend and that looked good, it also seems impervious to Autoglym Super Resin Polish too.

First thing I use is the girlfriend with a heatgun. I just use the autoglym stuff too, as Alex says its very messy! Preperation is also key to make sure all the other grease and stuff is off before you put anything else on, and fairy liquid is good for cleaning them first and getting all the grease off.
I've heat gunned all my bumpers! I bought a new rear one a few months ago also so that always looks pretty good :)

Cant get better than Meguiars Professional 38 Mirror Glaze Tyre and Trim cleaner!! After using most things on the market inclucing AG green gunk stuff, this is the best i've found!!
Hard to get hold of now though!! :'(
