hi guys im looking at getting a s/s manifold for the g,
any suggestions as where to get a decent one that doesnt cost the earth!
iv been looking at the hot tuning ones on ebay, does any one have any experience with these?
cheers
daryl
Well, it depends what you call decent and doesn't cost the earth. The cheap ones off ebay Raceland, hot-tuning, whatever make they are called they are the same make. Where the manifold merge into the downpipe is worse than a VAG de-cat IMO and they sometimes hit the std ARB. Make your own mind up about it, but I know of better manifolds that do cost more but will perform better.
good point!
can you recommend a company that make decent ones, or a website that sells them?

Regarding Raceland....DON'T BUY IT !!!! I hv it on my Seat Arosa G40 nd hd a loot of problems. Car didn't go at all!!! Thing is., down pipe fm first nd third cilinder are ok but conection fm second nd fourth cilinder are shit. Bore is very small - in diametar 2,5 cm nd car cos of that won't go.
Those two pics explain how does it lokelike nd where the problem is. If you wont to buy raceland this is a MUST what y. hv to do
Thats what I meant, but I didn't realise they were that bad ! :o
