Title: Eaton Spec Cam

Hey People, I was just wondering which spec cam from schrick or newman would best suit my eaton conversion the basic spec is 4branch, GT inlet, Dewedged TB, G60 injectors. Any help would be appreciated Pete

i maybe getting rid of mine in favour of a 1341 cam as i only have an eaton cam at the mo. PM me if you're interested.

if you do swap these cams could you let me know the set up info for the cams as i have an eaton specific cam sat in my bed room that i cant get to run right in my engine so i am currently only running a standard g40 cam

thanks that would be fan tastic. could you make a not of how you time it up as i was told that they run half a tooth out on the cam belt but  i still could not get it to run right

Eventually? Sorry, 1 car and work commitments. Should be there tomorrow. Mines being fitted by PhilJ so won't be able to say how it was timed.

could you let me know if he gets it fitted ok then i,ll ask him how he timed it up as we just cant get mine to run right, we have given up on it now and its just sat in my bedroom and i,ve put the standard g40 cam back in but i know this cam ins not ideal so any help at all would be a massive help to me

No Point in getting an Aftermarket cam if you don't know what timing it should be at.

i know thats why im trying to find out what the timing should be set at like i have been trying to do for the last bloody year  :-\

let me now mate the pg3 cam is what i have its the same for 1341cc and eaton on this model for agressive set up sounds like a scooby ticking over lol but i will need the info too

that would make my year if you can help me get this cam running right i have heard it is supposed to sound really nice but when i had it running in me engine it was just missing like hell and holding valves open i think. i think this is the prob im having i just cant get it to run without it holding valves open
