Post by: rocore on January 20, 2009, 10:36:19 PM
Has anyone got a guide of how to do this? Something with pictures would help... not familiar with the procedure at all!

After removing both of my wedges I ended up putting one back on, I think it's a good compromise. I noticed a bit more easy breathing at top end and got rid of a lot of the snappy-ness

pretty simple really, take off the throttle body (remove boost pipe, unclip throttle cable, unclip wiring connector, undo four bolts holding it to the inlet), remove the four screws holding the wedges on (note: these are very tight make sure you use the correct screwdriver).  Then you need to block the holes up, liquid metal is probably the best way, just countersink the holes from both sides first.
