not that many made it to the uk.
maybe you like the pics.

1st-year 85 factory g40 4-5 times built.
2nd-year 86 cup g40 50 times built.
3-5th-year 86 vw motorsport g40
6-7th-year 87 polo g40 limited 500 times built, all black.

yes was just thinking, that black one has the same arch kit on it as the red one that's been around in the uk for the last few years hasn't it

Yeah, I remember that red wide arch one. I think it was a David Sutton Motorsport one?
It ended up being very nicely rebuilt IIRC as it was rusty under the fibreglass outer panels.

hi,
if you like the wide bodied arch ones that much,i would search for one of thoose kits,they where sold at vag dealer still mid 90s.maybe some around.should fit on mk3 aswell?
would somebody go for it?
last 3 pics are rieger ones and well overdoing it,if you ask me.

i love the black polo and a lot of people do also. i wonder if it would be possible for someone to make some of these kits? maybe one of the guys that sells the fiberglass doors could do it?????? i for one would love a set

one of the 1st series sits in england already waiting for a new owner,its resheld.
topic is blocked ask admin for help.
the wide arch one sits in austria,but its an look like not an original but with some work very nice.
the cup version maybe available 10 times. 5 in good and 5 in bad cond.
the lucky good cond. owners will def. not sell.
all spare parts will be hard to get.
specific mk2 g40 parts will be twice the price then 2f parts.
