Does anyone have a G40 starter motor kicking around please...either a known good one or a knackered one that I can use as an exchange core?
I've been having endless starting issues and just need to swap out parts on a substitute basis....

That's good. Is it a runner or just a core for exchange please?
Wherabouts are you, and how much would you want for it please?

where are you in the UK? I have a fair few starter motors off G's and other olops. I'm based in Leeds but can post
