Interested in this as My g40 chargers broke, is there anything else I need to put this on my g40, it had a stage 2 charger with a chip to suit.

I'm pretty new to g40's and never really looked into the eaton. So please excuse my ignorance ???
Cheers

I've still got that full blend sitting in a box at my house ready to go Chris in case you need one to get by!

Is the Eaton kit the AW tracksport one? Any issues with it? ie throwing belts, cracking mounts, etc. Not interested myself, just a couple of Q's to help Chris out!

As far as I know it's not a kit, more of a home brew custom jobbie.. I've not had it long but due to losing my job everything has to go. I have all the parts and It all fits and runs on the g40. Just takes a bit of tinkering to set up and get the belt lined up, but is sound once done. I'm happy to Pm more pictures and am negotiable on price

Any ideas when it was serviced last?

Not particularly sure. Might have some paperwork lying around, May take a while to find. It was serviced quite a while a go, but has spent most of the time sitting in the garage, so hasn't been run much

Okay, be honest with me, is it easy to fit or is it a bit of an arse?  I am interested but just trying to weigh up the pros and cons tbh

No it's not terribly hard to fit. Obviously it's not a 10 minute job, it takes a bit of care to make sure the charger is lined up but apart from that it is essentially a matter of bolting it all on

Okay mate, I'm gonna have a think and I'll get back to you tommorow. Will you chuck in the boost piping and intercooler for £450 and If I do have it when are you about for me to collect it?

Can you check on the duration of the cam? I am really interested in the difference of an eaton to the rest of the G40 cams!

I'm pretty certain it's 280/268, I also have two standard g40 cams
