Title: Struggling to start unless throttle is worked
Post by: Matty! on June 04, 2015, 10:36:25 PM
As above its always been beauty then today its very reluctant to start without mashing the throttle like an old carbed car.
Runs fine once its running

Any ideas? Something simple like a dizzy?

Edit** just changed the pedal box but can't see it being anything caused by that?

Sounds like overfuelling at start up or timing errors, need the dizzy checking and maybe the blue temp sender changing for cold start up. What about Vac leaks?

Also to answer a question you asked me a while back, gusseting my pedalbox didn't work!

Cheers man, turns out it was a split wire on the blue temp sender... Forgot that was so related to the startup procedure.

Thanks
