I have a folder full of receipts for everything! I have spent over £7000 on this car and the spec and photos show this. This really is a reluctant sale, but after buying my first house it is no longer viable to have two cars. The car doesn't currently have a fitted interior, I do have all components present. This includes door cards / rear seats / full black carpet / parcel shelf / rear speaker/shelf brackets / boot carpet. The front seats are in great condition, but the rest is showing signs of age. The other point to highlight is the rich fuel map. The map was developed by PPP (true Polo experts), so this really is nothing to worry about and all part and parcel of the 'safe map' to run the engine in on.
Viewings are welcome and with proper insurance documentation I am happy people take a test drive. The car is on a private plate and this will be included in the sale.
I have the following brand new items that are not fitted to the car. These are NOT included in this sale, but happy to let them go with the car for the right price:
PPP Manifold - cost over £450.00 new, will certainly add a few horses to the engine and definitely finish the engine bay off nicely!
PPP Stage 2 Subframe - cost £215.00 new and will transform the handling of the car.

Thanks for the kind words.
Took a lot of time, effort and money to get her looking like this. Hopefully potential buyers will see they don't come up looking like this very often!!

Lovely looking car and good luck with selling it. Looks a bargain for the work done.
Are you sure it's Windsor blue? The green shine makes it look royal blue?

Your right! I even had the paint mixed to the LA5U recipe, no idea why I put Windsor in the advert!
Thanks for pointing it out

What size engine does 76.5mm make it?
What bhp is it? roughly? or would it be with correct map?
What is the condition of the gearbox?
and gearbox linkage?
What size are the tyres?

Engine is 1323cc.
I had it on the rolling road and it's currently on 151bhp at the flywheel. Very hard to say what power it might make, but from other engines on this forum I would have thought a custom map with the lads at PPP would see it make over 170bhp. Finish it off with the exhaust manifold, high lift cam and aquamist and i would have thought 180bhp was achievable. All depends on how the new owner wants to run the car. Power was never the main aim for me, I just wanted something that looked standard with a bit of extra grunt!
Gearbox/Clutch are in good condition, the rubber ball was replaced with new on engine rebuild and all gears are selected easily.
Tyres are 195/45/R14 77V
Any other questions, please feel free to give me a call.
Thanks

Hi Joe,
Good work and such a shame to move it on, by the way where did you source the new front and rear badges?
Many thanks
