Sounds like it could be a split boost pipe or loose pipe, vac pipe has come off?

It hold boost and stuff I will try have a play with them and it seems fine when I rev it up on the top of the throttle body just when you rev it in the car

Check the black sensor on the plastic boost pipe. If it's abstracted or disconnected power goes out the window! Had a similar problem when the metallic ring at the end of the pipe had slipped inside it and got wedged before the sensor. It would boost but make no power!

Its a CO-POT, not an air flow sensor. G40's dont have air flow sensors.

Spray some soapy water in the direction of hissing. There is a rubber o-ring under the co pot which creates a seal in conjunction with the u-clip. It's the same size o-ring as the blue and black water temp sensors use in the thermostat housing.

Worth inspecting for damage/fit.
