Hi all,

I was recently advised to put a standard G40 exhaust on my 1990 Mk2 Polo Coupe S, and the advisor told me this would slightly improve performance, as well as make it sing a little better-or growl a bit ;)

So, i thought the G40 Forum was the place to ask. The reason I'm so keen on the G40 standard is because the insurers might not know ;D bad I know but it doesn't really matter if its a standard VW product I guess.

So, advice, what do the people of the internet recommend? And, if you believe this is a good idea, anyone got one?

If u can find a proper stock g40 standard exhaust you deserve a blue Peter medal. Rocking horse Shit brand new and rotten and busted 2nd hand

I got a buyer for my original (leistritz) exhaust, (still in very good condition)

What would be a fair price? are these now obsolete at VW?
