hi guys,

right as the evo is potentially sold im loking for a smaller car to have in the garage, ive chose to get a polo G40

does anyone know of any good ones about?

well ive got a few grand stashed away

would probably spend 3-3.5k

however if it was a really nice one theres is more to play with

2 options really. Spend just shy of a grand like myself and end up with a big refurb project. Or 3K will get you a smart, well looked after G that 'should' only require minimal maintenance.

yeah either or really im not shy of a project, ive had a few 205gtis, imprezas and old rs turbos being an engineer with a massive workshop at my disposal i like a challenge,

does anyone know of any that are for sale?

I noticed a very original white one come up on pistonheads last week, I feel it's overpriced but might be worth checking it out.

4.9k is top dolla, plus instrument dash doesn't look totally original, few too many switches.

Are you wanting one that is mostly standard or one that is modified?

Depends on what your wanting from a G40 really.

im not really bothered about modified or standard as long as price is right for the right car,

will have a LHD one for sale in a couple of weeks will come with 12 month mot and 3 months tax bit weather beaten but price reflect £1500 ovno

Ive got a conversion needs abit of tlc as its an mot fail but the engine is very well spec'd if you did want a project?
