Title: Oil choice for standalone

And it seems a bit too thick. Taking along time to get round the system, Also i didnt see that it says SAE40 equivalent.

Has anyone used the air tool one? This is very thin oil, almost like water when the bottle is shaken.

What pump are you using James? Think I've already suggested a little 10psi cube pump and Joe Gibbs 0 viscosity.

Yeah im using a facet cube one. Its rated 7-10psi. That joe gibbs is hard to find over here. I have found some fork oil thats been recommended but @ £22 a litre is expensive. Its rated SAE 5 and is very thin. Compressor oil is crap, far too thick. Just draining it out now so i can try another.

I would get a proper oil pump like the mocal one but you cant use the pump until the oil is warm so thats out the window.

Where did you get the joe gibbs from?

Crowd called Anglo American Oils and it is feckin expensive. I got mine on a discount my employers were giving on any lubricant. My boss just about shit himself when he got the bill for a pint; about £20 iirc.
